LG G3 to feature a fingerprint scanner

The Apple iPhone 5s and the HTC One max might not be only the phone with a fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone. A report published on Thursday saying that the LG G3, LG's next flagship, will have a fingerprint scanner, to unlock the phone. The mechanism of the scanner is going to be like HTC One max' scanner (requires user to swipe down his/her finger to read the fingerprint), and not like the iPhone 5s' scanner (requires user to press and hold the fingerprint sensor -- on the home button).

Other features included in the G3 are the Android 4.4 operating system, 2.2GHz octa-core processor, and Quad HD display resolution.

The product is expected to introduced at MWC 2014, with other wearables from LG called G Arch (possibly a smartwatch) and the G Health (possibly a wristband).
